Esteem Counseling Center is dedicated to providing high quality outpatient psychotherapy services in Northeast Connecticut.  I believe that mental wellness is a priority. I provide treatment for issues related to Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive and Related Disorders, Grief/Loss, Marital Issues, Divorce, Stress, Relationship Issues, Social Isolation/ Shyness, Phase of Life, Body Image Issues, Motivation, Bipolar Disorder, Divorce, Self Esteem, Sports/Academic/Workplace Performance, Weight Loss, Borderline Personality, Addiction, Trauma, LGBTQ, Parenting, Caregiving.

CLINICIAN

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Connecticut. I earned my Bachelor Degree with a double major in Psychology and Sociology from Rhode Island College. I have earned two graduate degrees: A Masters Degree in Psychology from Brandeis University and a second Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from University of Massachusetts Boston.

Additionally, I have completed EMDR training through EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs (Trauma Recovery/ HAP), First Line Therapy/Lifestyle Education certification from Metagenics, and training in nutrition coaching from Precision Nutrition (Pn1 certified). My experience includes work with inpatient psychiatric patients, medical practice patients (lifestyle education), and community mental health agency outpatient and intensive outpatient clients. I am a member of the American Counseling Association.
